Company Overview: Newman Garrison + Partners (NG+P) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. NG+P approaches their work with offering market-driven design solutions in architecture, interior design, and land-planning services. Project Architect/Manager - Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for running projects; coordinating consultants, managing production, facilitating communication. He or she will be involved in all phases of the project delivery and will coordinate with the Studio Director to ensure the project is on schedule and meeting the set standards. Candidates must possess strong analytical, oral, and written communications skills with the ability to build quick rapport with all levels of employees, clients, consultants, and vendors. Candidates must also have a proven ability in problem identification and problem solving. The successful candidate will have worked with approval agencies with a demonstrated ability to successfully deliver completed projects. Primary Responsibilities and Qualifications : Manage the financial and operational performance of projects and partner with the firm Partners and Studio Director to build long-term relationships with clients - our most important partners. Manage design and production processes in a collaborative environment including team building, staffing, project organization, communication, and mentoring. Lead the development and execution of the work plan, budget, and schedule, modifying as appropriate throughout the project life cycle. Align work effort and resources with contract and work scope proactively addressing changes, including additional services as required. Align team process and deliverables with the project delivery method. Participate in production of project deliverables as appropriate and/or necessary. Work with Principal and Senior Design Manager to resolve design issues with creative and practical solutions Effective verbal/written communication and presentation techniques. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor/Master of Architecture from an accredited program and Architectural license, California Registration preferred. Minimum of 12 years of project experience on mid-to-large scale Mixed-Use, Multifamily and/or Hospitality projects required. Proven leadership skills with the ability to build strong client and team relationships. Must have experience leading BIM project production teams, demonstrated expertise with Revit, working knowledge of AutoCAD and be proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project or Smartsheet.
