Manufacturing company on NW side of San Antonio is now hiring Machine Maintenance Technicians!
Perform complex repairs and troubleshoot complex electrical drive systems and instrumentation systems.
Responsible for routine checks of auxiliary equipment.
Assure inventory of electrical components and major mechanical parts is maintained.Work with maintenance mechanics and maintenance inspector to assure proper PM to reduce breakdowns.
Maintain chart recorders and printouts as required.
Assist in ordering maintenance and machine parts.
Train maintenance mechanics on drives & instrumentation.
Assist production on producing quality products and improving speed and efficiency.
Receives reads and analyze mechanical diagrams, instructions and work orders, assigns duties to maintenance personnel as needed.Able to identify a basic motor control diagram.
Skills/Qualifications: One year certification from college or technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience, PLC troubleshooting, Pneumatic systems and Hydraulics experience a must
Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and pipe and electrical systems in industrial establishments following specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings.
