We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and plant operating systems. Complete necessary documentation.
Changeover equipment in support of the plant production schedule and/or as requested by Production Shift Supervisor.
Trouble shoots and repair equipment and systems to minimize plant downtime. Notify Supervisor when parts are pulled from stock to ensure adequate inventory of key parts and supplies are maintained.
Complete Projects as assigned and prioritized by the Maintenance Manager.
Document all Shift activities in Daily Maintenance Log.
Continually inspect and monitor plant equipment and systems during scheduled shift. A complete plant walk-through is conducted at least once during each assigned shift.
Observe and follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules and plant safety requirements.
Working knowledge of Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Functions, and Basic Electrical in order to repair, rebuild, replace parts, and trouble shoot when failures occur.
Must have manual dexterity and the ability to use tools proficiently.
Must have own set of hand tools applicable to food processing equipment,
Pay grades will be assigned in accordance with overall skill and experience.
2 -4 years food processing and/or industrial plan maintenance
