Central Florida Company is looking for a capable maintenance person with experience in the manufacturing field. Candidate will be responsible for the up keep of all equipment, including: production line maintenance, machinery, welding including stainless steel and fabricating, electrical and electrical trouble shooting, electric motors, liquid tank heaters and water pumps.

Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Conduct and maintain a PM schedule on equipment and other necessary machinery

  • Trouble shoot and repair any equipment/machinery failures, including hydraulic and /or pneumatic systems; hydraulic pumps and cylinders, air compressors, rectifiers and chillers

  • Working knowledge of PVC, CPVC and copper pipe plumbing.

  • Experience with reading and understanding electrical schematics and electrical trouble shooting.

  • Knowledge of PLC's, limit switches, and photo eyes.

  • Track spare parts usage and re-order to ensure a stocked inventory

  • Welding including stainless steel (no TIG welding)

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

  • Some degree of work may require usage of ladders, step stools, and forklift cage/platforms

  • Occasional bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) and crouching

  • Candidate will be exposed to elevated noise levels, heat, dust and dirt.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience in the manufacturing/or production industry

  • Electrical 24v to 480, Mechanical fabrication and welding and air systems

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and a well thought out approach to problems

  • Able to multi-task
