Innovion's primary service and operations location is in San Jose, CA. Innovion has expanded our service by opening a location in Wilmington, MA to service our East Coast customer base. This is a new and growing location and we are looking for team members to provide world-class service to our customers.

  • Hiring for Weekend Day Shift - Thursday through Sunday 7 am to 5 pm (or similar hours). Applicable shift differential will apply.

Reporting to the Equipment Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Technician will perform the following tasks:


  • Troubleshoot and rectify machine down situations.
  • Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance using established procedures.
  • Rebuild and prepare implanter assemblies for quick installation.
  • Set up and run equipment after repair and, occasionally, in production.
  • Enhance equipment performance by installing modifications; making adjustments; recommending improvements.
  • Maintain shop equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; requesting repairs.
  • Maintain equipment historical reference by documenting actions.
  • Share knowledge of equipment by training and coaching fellow employees.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following additional education and experience:

  • AS degree in Electronics or equivalent training (minimum).
  • Experience repairing complex manufacturing equipment (2- 4 years preferred). Semiconductor equipment experience preferred (specifically vacuum systems, and/or ion implanters).
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a shift including off-shifts.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
  • Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Occasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 40 pounds.
