The Interior Designer position assists with various project-related tasks. Designers will work closely with other Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and the Design Director to develop their design skills and understanding of the financial management of a project. They are exposed to all aspects of the project including all phases of design and procurement. The primary role of an Interior Designer is to assist other Project Managers or Senior Project Manager with the design and production of presentation materials and design documents related to the successful completion of a project.


• Assist with establishing the overall design direction for projects including producing "mood shots" and relevant imagery, as well as, pulling fabric and ordering samples for presentations
• Must possess the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Participate in presentations / team meetings with the Client at appropriate intervals
• Assist with production / layout of furniture plans and creation of itemized FF&E budgets
• Selecting materials, furniture, and accessories while coordinating with vendors
• Producing Furniture Plan layouts and assisting with itemized FF&E budgets
• Producing Purchase Orders and tracking of FF&E items and deliveries of goods to storage facility
• Coordinating and participating in on-site installation of the FF&E (in coordination with warehouse)
• Travel is required


• Professional Licensure: NCIDQ Not Required
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Degree from a CIDA Accredited School
• Software: AutoCAD 2014, Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, PowerPoint
• Experience: 0-3 Years Minimum of Applicable Experience (Preferred)
