Job Description

Commercial Property Management company is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager with a strong accounting background whose primary responsibility will be the daily operations of an office and industrial portfolio. The ideal candidates will have experience in: Posting and coding of Accounts Payable Invoices Posting Tenant Receipts Prepare and distribute monthly rent statements and billbacks to Tenants Perform and monitor collections Assist with preparation of accounting and variance reports Abstract and enter new lease information into Yardi system Maintain Tenant and Vendor Files Track and update insurance requirements for the property and vendors Excellent customer service in interacting with tenants and clients Requirements: Minimum of three years of commercial property management experience Basic accounting background Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and have flexibility to switch roles Understanding of financial and commercial lease terms Ideal candidate will also have experience with financial reporting, budgeting and CAM reconciliations Proficient computer skills and Excel a must Experience with Yardi Software preferred
